As part of my flying to Geneva next January, I’ll be flying the Swiss 777-300ER through Zurich once again, as well as the Lufthansa A380. I’m excited for the longhaul flights, especially the A380 leg, which will be my first leg in A380 business class.

While the positioning flight from Geneva to Frankfurt is on a generic Eurobusiness A320, my flight from Zurich to Geneva was originally booked on a Swiss A320, which I didn’t really mind. After all, the flight’s just 50 minutes.

This was later switched to a Bombardier CS100, which I was excited about, but I knew it wouldn’t last especially this far in advance. After all, I know what happened to my last shorthaul special flight.

Much like what usually happens that has changed again, though it’s completely changed, against my expectations. I mean, it’s not even on a Swiss aircraft, but on their regional offshoot, Helvetic.
It’s on an Embraer 190, which I can’t seem to find pictures of, so technically I’ll be one of the first to actually review a Helvetic Embraer 190 flight, if anything. Based on what I see from the airline PR, though, it’s not very reassuring.

Bottom Line
I can’t wait to see how this goes, and can’t wait till January rolls around!
