While you guys have heard about my year, this is the first travel year I’ve had where I’ve made changes less than four months prior. I’m excited to restart my travel season today, where I literally won’t be in Hong Kong for more than a week each time I come back.
Me, for more times this summer than ever before
So, what products are you going to see from me this summer?
Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A350 Business Class
While I’m only flying roundtrips on this to Taipei thanks to a wonderful package fare my parents found, I’ll be trying to tour the whole plane later today, as well as, hopefully, the new Pier business class lounge, which opened last weekend.

Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9 Economy Class
I’ve managed to score myself a longhaul economy flight for review, too, which I haven’t done in a long time and am excited to get back to.

Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9 Premium Economy
While longtime reader/to-be blogger Nat has flown and promised a review, she’s had issues with finding time lately, so I’ll be the one covering this on my return from London. It’ll be my first flight actually flying alone.

Swiss Boeing 777-300ER Business Class
It’ll be my first time flying longhaul in business class with anything other than Cathay Pacific (apart from Qantas, but I was barely a year old), so I’m really looking forward to one of those new birds. Hopefully this doesn’t get swapped to an A340 (or an Avro RJ100, for that matter).

Bottom Line
It’ll be a whirlwind two months – thanks for hanging with me, and I hope my Osaka review comes out quickly!
