After the Wing, I decided to check out The Bridge, which was closer to our assigned gate. It’s located at the end of the big hallway near gate 36, where a few escalators bring you down to the lounge.

I went down the escalator where I was checked into the lounge. The lounge attendants took quite a while to scan while talking to each other and upon asking informed me that the Pier was under renovation.

The agents directed me to the right side, the bakery, where there was “more to eat”. Great, I’m hungry!

I turned right to the bakery, and it smelled pretty good, like baking bread. There was a handful of different seating, all of which looked comfortable.

Pardon the image quality, as I was lugging a few luggages for my family and gravity was not doing well on my hands.

The Long Bar was next to the bakery, which was long.

There were also the signature Solus chairs which faced the tarmac.

Then there was a “children’s rest area”, where the WiFi was a little bit slower in than the rest of the lounge. It was taken, but we took it up shortly after.

Then there was the Bakery, with its own restaurant-style seating. It was mostly for families and individuals given the way it was set up.

The Bakery featured a food spread of bread and other items.

I briefly went over to the other side, the Coffee Loft, to check it out. It featured a coffee machine and decent seating.

That side featured the shower rooms, which I was allowed to take a picture of (I’d say that they were the least nice out of the three lounges I visited regards shower room pictures, which I can kind of reflect on to the service in the rest of the lounge).

My family came over and we hung out until boarding. At 11:40, I decided to get on the flight.

Bottom line

Overall I felt like the lounge was nicely designed and a great lounge to visit in Hong Kong, but I feel like they’ve been topped by the Qantas lounge. Having visited the Cabin and the Wing as well, I think that this was above par when it started, but it’s starting to wear and blend with the others.
