Apologies on being slightly light on posts lately (of course, my trip report to Phuket is rolling out smoothly).
Ultimately substance beats style when writing anything. It’s always disappointing to get on a snazzy, well designed site, only to find nothing close to what you were looking for.
That said, sometimes, for both us and you guys, the blog does need to be updated, and long-time readers may have noticed changes in the blog format.
Appearance Changes
It’s probably noticeable that the blog has changed again in appearance, and it’s merely an update from the Twenty Fourteen WordPress theme to the Twenty Fifteen WordPress theme. I don’t think it’s that big a change, and it’s definitely just for better editing and a cleaner blog, which I like.
The New Young Travelers of Hong Kong
The layout is slightly cleaner, in my opinion, but currently it’s hard to access the categories, which I’ll try to fix later.
You’ve noticed, probably, that I’ve used a picture of Hong Kong on the left, which I used due to the name of the site. What better way…
Trip Report Index
The other major change that I’ll talk about here is the trip report index, which has been added to (not changed) over time.
I’ve noted the Airlines page, which is basically the Airline part of the main Trip Report Index with pictures. No, it’s not necessarily better, but some people just can’t match every single cabin with their respective airline and want to see the actual pictures together, which is why I’ve made this other way to navigate through the index.
Now I have a “Hotels” and a “Lounges” page for the same reason.

I’m getting used to these changes as fast as you guys are, so please bear with me as the site improves over time.
